Received card on 8/29!! I\'m done!!

Stamped on 5/28 Newark, AVM changed card ordered on 8/20 The last stretch is here...any idea how long it takes after AVM change to get the actual card?

No Title I actually had the official copy of the notice from my lawyer along. But I know that they were accepting courtesy copies of the notice because I heard the officer there tell one of the people there (loud enough for the whole room to hear) that they needed any one of the courtesy copy...

How long does it take to get the actual plastic card once the passport is stamped? I did my stamping today at Newark and it took just 1 hour (2 hours if you also include the 1 hour wasted because of the fire drill that they had while we were there - one of the laziest fire drills that I have...

No Title The photographs are the immigration style photographs...same as earlier for EAD etc. I think they only stamp passports on Wed. I will also go to Newark this Wed. for stamping. You have to take off work probably.

No Title My AD is 5/10. I received the courtesy copy on 5/16...it was postmarked 5/14. The lawyer also received their copy on 5/17.

No Title I got approved on May 10th and I received the courtesy copy yesterday. The postmark was for May 14th. One of my friends had to call INS up as he did not receive his courtesy copy within 14 days and they told him that they had not even mailed it by then. Then, they immediately mailed it...

No Title I also checked with my friend who got his passport stamped around 2 weeks ago using the courtesy copy. So, seems like that works.

Or do I need the lawyer copy of approval notice?

Checked AVM last night and found out that both mine and my wife\'s cases have been approved!! Not bad, considering that it took exactly 2 years and 3 months from the time I filed for labor certification, to the approval!!

No Title I was also told that my case is pending....when I asked again what that means, the IIO told me that it has not yet been assigned to an officer.

No Title Checked with FBI. They received the FP from INS on April 5th and sent the reply back on April 6th. So, seems like around a week to get them processed.

I was fingerprinted on 3/31/01 but when I called FBI, they said they had not received them yet. How long does it generally take to get them cleared?

 

No Title I got EAD approved on 2/6/01 and card arrived on 2/9/01 (ND was 12/15/00)
