My parents came here one month ago,got green cards but not social security cards yet,though we marked yes on the immigration application,noone has an answer if i call ss office,does anyone know time frame to get ss cards or what shud i do?how much time does it usually take to get ss cards? My parents got gc through cp and came here a week ago,should i apply for social security card for them or will it be processed automatically if i had marked yes for it in their gc application. Also how much time for them to get the physicsl green card? Any input apprecuated. Thankyou.

I read that for interview all copies that were submitted shud be taken,shud i send a copy of my passport to be taken for interview as im the usc? Also,i have tax return copies but i forgot to make tax transcript copies,if my folks dont have it for their interview is that a major priblem?

Sometimes it stays thatway..u may want to call the customer service for updates,in my case the avr always said that case for not found!

Mvram : i got the email yesterday the interview is on feb 17 Rama : i donot know when the case complete happened by automated system,i donot check that as it says my case is not found,i checked my email and had the email with interview date.
