I concurrently filed in EB1-OR category and received receipt notices for all applications except I140. It appears that USCIS send I140 notice to the attorney only.

Yes you can definitely apply. I'm on J-1 and I applied in EB1-OR category recently. I was subjected to 2 Yr HRR and I received waiver for that. Good luck...

Hi friends When shall I expect to receive my receipt no? I applied on 13th Oct 07 at NSC. It has been almost 3 weeks since I applied. My checks are also not encahsed? Is there any means by which i can track my application or receipt no?

there are not many people who do this unusual stuff (J1 to GC) but i think whatever peice of information we get we shall post here so that this unsual criterion becomes ususal.....

Thanks lakksh......I hope I'll have 140 and 485 approved well before that and I can use EAD and AP to stay and work here until I get my green card....I hope i'm thinking in right direction. If decision is unlikely (around 10 months from now), then I'll go for H1b PP. Thanks once again
