I received the 'card production ordered' email today,, looks like my wait is almost over!

I think if she gets her conditional green card she can file to have the conditional status removed on the basis that she is in an abusive relationship/marriage. That would be a way that she might be able to stay in the US. But she has to get her conditional green card first.

I'm not sure whether medication is required if the x-ray results are negative,, atleast for my case i had a positive skin test (maybe as a result of the bgc vaccine) and a negative xray, no medication was required

This really is a sad story. Its amazing how treacherous and sneaky officers can be. It is sad to see someone who entered the US legally be treated like this while there are milions of undocumented people out there.:mad:

EAD card received! I finally got my ead card on the mail today,, its been a long wait!:)

You dont have to worry about overstaying in the us once you file the i485 and the i130 your status is pending and therefore you dont have to leave the us. Infact if you do leave while you filed these you might be in trouble

Thats funny, you didnt receive the "card production ordered email?" However the approval notice sent email suggests that your card is on the way.

You can file it on your own, no need for an attorney unless there are other complications such as a criminal record. You dont need to send originals coz uscis may keep them. Duncan is right, whatever you do crosscheck your stuff, even lawyers and doctors make mistakes.:D

My doctor said the same thing but i insisted that uscis require both the skin test and the xray. Most doctors dont know uscis intricate requirements (they arent lawyers), you have to go through their checklist.
