Did you went to local INS Did you went to the local INS to get the EAD. It may transfer your case to local INS.

My I-140 is also approved for CP Can we contact NVC to find out where our 140 is and if it has been sent to Indian Consulate, then can we contact them to mail it back to NVC to avoid some time delays???

Right now the message says that "on this date we sent the notice of fingerprints blah blah blah". When does it changes to some thing like "Finger prints received from FBI ". I did my fingerprints a week before. Thanks,

Do we need to apply for SSN (For H4 person) after getting EAD? And I heard that we need to fill form I-9 to start work on EAD. Do we need to send this form to INS OR Employer has to take care of it? TIA

No Title I-485 -- RD 04/09/2001 & ND 06/14/2001

No Title Sent to INS on Apr 9th. Still nothing. My lawyer got a response from INS saying that due to lack of Employees in the INS it is taking more time. So now they gave a time estimate of 1 ~ 3 months to get the receipt.
