Can someone change career after GC?

No Title I guess you could. I am sure there are plenty of companies that exploit people like us. But this means litigation and with INS nothing is certain. But I also think that it really doesn\'t matter what I say here. You should consult a lawyer on that.

Can someone change career after GC?

Not till you become a citizen Try the "After the Green Card Forum" this topic has been discussed in detail. It appears that after 9/11 INS is much more eager to bring up immigration fraud against people and it\'s been said that there is no statute of limitation on that. For instance...

    GC and change of jobs

This has been discussed many many times here. I searched the site and found drastically different answers. Some say one can leave the employer on the day you get the GC, others say you are running a high risk of being charged with immigration fraud. I recently got my stamp and though I am not...

    Arlington Stamping?

Did anyone go for stamping @ Arlington INS?? If so please share your experience. I know the line is usually VERY long, but how is the stamping itself? Thanks.

I hope so I really want to agree. I mean really reeeeely, yet we are still here. BTW, my message was updated to "your I-485 was received blah blah blah.." some time in late December 2000, shortly after I got my receipt, and stayed the same ever since for almost a year now.

Clarification I guess I didn\'t make myself clear. When I meant a year gap, I meant a gap between the time my I-140 was approved and the time they start adjudicating my case (I-485). There were maybe two weeks between the approval of my I-140 and me filing I-485, yet they still sent my I-140 to...
