You need to wait at least 90 days before you can get the iEAD. Hopefully you will get your actual EAD before that.

All, I finally got my EAD, but look like I may have to renew it pretty soon. It was approved October 2005 and will expire in Oct 2006. Since I did my FP couple of weeks ago, I just got the EAD in my hand. Thanks to all of you who suggested doing a walk-in FP. I have couple more questions now...

The iEAD from Detroit is valid only for 3 months. I did a walk-in FP in Detroit ASC recently and my EAD got approved after 4 days. I am now waiting for the card in mail. Original NOA date: August 2005
