u can leave as soon as u get the notice.. so u need not wait for the card. they dont ask any questions at time of naturaliation... they only see if u have any criminal activity etc not how long u were with employer... infact with ac21 u can even leave emplyer before 485 aprved.. so dont worry...

4 - 7 days.. u will see it approved. rfe means u r in FINAL stage of 485...enjoy ur freedom!!

hey i had ur similar issue,. out of status on f1. as far as u got ur h1 after that and u were able to travel in and out of US u r fine. Just dont apply for AP- since that might cause an rfe. i did exactly that and i got gc now. Dont worry too much

u will get ur cards in exactly 1 week. you can leave ur employer right away. I did exactly that and no issues.

approved Labor applied 10/30/2006 and approved in 1 day 140/485 AD 12/13/2006 140 PP AD 5/15/07 RFE June 15th Card production ordered : JUly 26th 485 approval notice : July 31st. Hope this helps. if u do 140 in PP u will get 485 approved faster - i have seen in soo many cases

i have booked my ticket to go to india for 2 weeks on the 22nd of july. I lost my job today and my company has said that they will cancel my h1. I have already stamped the visa when i went last time. Is it ok to go now and return in 2 weeks or will the authorities know that my H1 was cancelled...
