I would not personally go for the interim EAD unless it is absolutely necessary . because the interim EAD is issued only for 6 months. this is what i heard from my friends.so talk to lawyer before you go this direction.

I know my friend whose 140 is pending and he has ap and he visited india twice and had no problems so i guess its safe.

logically speaking you are now an employee of B so the ability to pay appplies to company B so if company B can provide enough documentation i think will take care of your issue

I am in the same boat , i have a three year degree and 3 year certificate course. Got a RFE in my case for education evaluation in the month of may answered in june but not got any decision yet waiting for a decision. will let you know when i have a result.

The notice for receipt goeat o your lawyer and you can ask you r lawyer to send you a copy.

i definitely know finger prints is needed for this stage but dont think that your case would not be opened unless finger prints are done.

Whats happenning is that on immigration.com they show the status of EAD approvvals for NSC as june 10 2003 but my nd is mar12 and rd is mar 7 2003 and still i didnt get my ead approved .... so i am a lil concerned and worried abouit this..

I am seeing that there are lot of approvals that are pending with NSC that are having the RD in feb and mar also at the same time i have seen people saying that their RD in apr and may and their 140 is approved ..... any body knows whats happenning ?

your education qualification should be same or higher.... as in if he/ she is a BS then you have to be a BS or if they are Ms you have to be MS and i think your pay should be the same.

yes you can see the status if they have received your RFE. but from my observation they only update the site on fridays. so check on the first saturday after you submitted. ofcourse it would be the status till a decision is taken.
