I get this nasty feeling that a large number of I485 namechecks which started in 2006 have been lost. Since nobody is really trying to find them, we all will be here a long time. Anybody else think the same way?

I think I saw a few people from Bangladesh getting quick approvals, and a few from Pakistan as well.

This whole immigration thing is pure lottery. Some win, others get left out in the dust.

Seems like most approvals are from those who filed in 2004 or 2007. Did they forget about 2006 filers?

In TSC lot of people from 2006 are waiting due to namecheck. I don't think they have approved a lot of 2006 namechecks.

You can be stuck forever. With the huge flood of AOS filings in Jun/Jul your application can be buried under a HUUUUUGE pile. Your children will grow old by the time you see your GC. Hope it doesn't actually happen, but a possibility.

Could you post details like RD, service center etc. This was family based, right?
