Looking at the results till now, the transferred cases really got the short end of the stick. What a joke!! Just 13% of cases originally filed at TSC are still pending and the overwhelming majority of pending cases are the transferred ones, who are at no fault and did not ask to be transferred...
Lets do a head count of all the ppl still waiting for approval! Sorry about not including EB1s, PDS and other details. Cannot fit more than 10 options.
Wow dude, your dates are even beyond mine. So technically I did stand a chance to get approved and didnt...and now retrogression kicks in again on July 2nd or 3rd. I just hope my case stays current :(
They are definitely lazy mfs otherwise they could easily pre-adjudicate all the pending cases with a note like "Cleared for Approval provided name check clears" or "Approved once PD becomes current".
I am in the same situation. I have seen transfer ppl file in both locations and getting approved. My conundrum is that by filing in VSC, it might get approved sooner but filing in TSC could trigger an approval.
Btw, everything I said above is purely speculative. Wait for a definite reply from...
Hello, fellow victims of case transfer ;)
Who the fcuk came up with this brilliant idea...I really want to know. I want to meet this person and personally thank him/her for coming up with this bureaucratic gem. This person deserves the Noble prize for streamlining and expediting 485 processing...

I do not think additional numbers get consumed with concurrent immigrant processing. USCIS checks to see if the filer's PD is current but it doesn't actually use up a visa number until it gets around to adjudicating it. If that was the case, we would've counted towards the visa numbers years...
i saw at least one un-transferred case getting approved today. there may be more out there i didnt follow.
i thought all you guys were done, gone and free ;) good luck!
You are approved Babu71. Congrats.
Please post your details:
1) VSC to TSC transfer case?
2) EB1/2/3?
3) PD
4) 1485 ND/RD
5) Transfer date if transfer case.
Thanks!
dbwr,
if you create a portfolio and add your cases to it, you can see the "last update date" column. Here is the website: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/termsconditions.jsp?contextType=CU_EN
BTW, Name Check status given by TSC IO/CSR through POJ method has a statistical chance of being correct 50% of the time. I have seen cases where these people were told that NC is pending but Infopass IO said its not and their case was approved within a few days. Either they lie to get us off...
