Went to the UPS store to ship out the packet but Vermont has a PO box address. So couldnt ship it out UPS. Went to the Post Office instead and did the priority mail shipping. Will be there on Thursday the latest. I got the tracking as well. So now starts the fun stuff.

Got the packet ready and will be shipping it out after work today.

No need to make it a complex email. If you have the receipt number for your case just reference that and ask for a status update on your process.

We were waiting for the GC and then finally got to go on our Cruise out of Miami for 4 days. It was nice to breeze through for my wife with her green card. Its a great relief to pass customs and flash your GC....... next stop USC for her in 2014..... countdown has begun:D

That is somewhat disappointing as I was thinking the same thing as well. We spent a lot of money on this process and it would have been nice to do a tax deduction on this process. :(

Alas that is how USCIS works. You have to schedule around them. My advice would be to try to do an early walk in FP if they will allow it. People on the board have had 50/50 success rate on that. When I was getting my papers processed for Citizenship, they also scheduled it in the middle of the...

You should be fine. I had less documents for my wife going in and the IO hardly looked at any of ours. I didnt have my wife on a majority of things as she didnt have an SS number so I couldnt add her. We brought lots of pics of our wedding and that seemed to appease our IO a lot. Good luck on...
