Email to Vermont Service Center

Hello All,

I wanted to send an email to the Vermont service center(vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov) regarding my pending Form I-130 because it is now past 3 months, does anyone know what should the email message say ?
 
normally it takes from 3-5 months to process I 130...it took 3 months for my parents case but took 5 months for my wife...i had not sent any email to service center, so not sure what email should say....
 
It is crazy for one to wait for 5 months before proceeding tot he second step. Thanks for posting
 
No need to make it a complex email. If you have the receipt number for your case just reference that and ask for a status update on your process.
