Hello, everyone!

I have a quick question about the green card fees. I did not know where to post it. I hope this is the right place to come.
The tax return season is here and I would like to know if I can deduct the fees that I paid for getting the permanent residence when i will fill my taxes.

That is somewhat disappointing as I was thinking the same thing as well. We spent a lot of money on this process and it would have been nice to do a tax deduction on this process. :(
 
its a personal expense for your benefit. just like buying a television. theres no reason it should be a deductible.
