    The new rule will be applicable if you are going to obtain a new petition. You have to obtain a new petition if your petition has expired or if you r travelling back to a different client than the one mentioned in your current petition.

    Do I have to go to India for L1-visa restamping??

    As far as i know you have to go to india(country of residence/citizenship) to get it re-stamped. Yes you can book an appointment from US provided you get the VISA fee paid by someone in India in the designated HDFC bank. Heard that BL1B's r rejected these days. So, plan accordingly :) .

    L1B Visa Rejection

    Did you apply for Blanket L1B? This is usually given to people with specialization in computers. But recently heard that they r rejecting BL1B's and asking people to apply for Regular L1B's instead. Is this true?

    US Entry with only 10 days valid on L1 a problem??

    I guess it shouldn't be a problem as i entered US with just 3 days left for my visa expiry :D !
