Ok, so I had time sooner than later. Here is my interview: http://www.immigrationportal.com/showpost.php?p=1739162&postcount=792.
Good luck to everyone and thanks again. Now for those beers :)
I had my interview on 7/26/07 at the Helena, Montana field office at 9:30 am.
After a 90 min drive, we arrived at 9:25 am, signed in, and waited approximately 10-15 min with noone else waiting (gotta love Montana!). We were called in and sworn in before sitting. The IO then asked if we wanted...
Sorry, that wasn't the question. I understand the 10 day rule and have abided by it every year for 6 years now. The question is, for the approval notice/GC (should it be granted), will my new address be updated soon enough to be sent directly or will it possibly get lost at my old address?
We're moving to another city for my job a week after my interview. Would you (triplec, anyone) recommend to:
a) tell them at the interview to change their record and send notices to new address
b) not tell and let USPS redirect my mail then change address within 10 days of move
c) not tell at...
I tried a similar request for transcripts. If you filed jointly, I suspect that the record is only contained under the first person's file. Like others have said, use your husband's SSN to request the appropriate transcript.
Does anyone know if your country of nationality has any bearing on processing times... well, at least a trend? I would think not but just checking.
