Nikko Yes we did FP same day albeit different offices. Did u call FBI to check status and see when it was returned back to CSC ( usually its within 24 hrs ). I dont know if your name is stuck in that background check everyone is talking about. I was surprised my wife and I got the IV so fast...

dude thats cool !! My wife has int on sep 26 and me on sep 27..The next oath ceremony is on Oct 25 at Fairplex in Pomona..I hope we both get those dates and the interviewing officer is nice..

how did u get oath letter before interview?

More important I should have asked when did you get the interview letter? was it mailed after June 1 , 2006 or before that? also can you elaborate on what questions were asked during interview. Did the El Monte office make you comfortable before starting to interview you?

My wife has same situation...Her drivers license has full middle name so she put full middle name in the first part. In the second part ( name as on greencard) she put M as middle name as thats the way it is on GC.

Thanks...when was the interview done? was it recent? I read on a diff board that from June 1 CSC only schedules an interview only after the FBI name check/ background check is completed. I had applied for UCI after June 1 and I always assumed my background check is completed. On a sidenote...

where was your interview in LA ? Mine is at EL MONTE on sep 27..I will keep an eye for these notes on my N652....

I had a hardtime getting a non-white b/k for my 2 yrs old daughter..spend 2 hrs driving to CVS,Walgress, Target and all those shops and none would take a non-white background picture. Finally I got it done at a Asian mom and pop 1 hr photo shop for $21 for 6 pix...completely idiotic reqt IMHO.

these dates are 100% garbage...just ignore themm.. CSC dates are in late 2005 and folks who applied much after that have already got their citizenship.

I have no idea why you cut your mailing date so close to the 4 yr , 9 month timeline...You should have mailed it 8.21 or after...now you have to mail again with new filled form and signature and all that good stuff..

This is true for CSC as per one of the posts by a lawyer...I had a post a few weeks back to that effect.
