I guess I did not ask the question correctly. My passport is valid for another 3 years but the date on my TN says October 5th. Does that mean that I can work until october 5th but not after that? I wanted to fly out that weekend and get it done. Thanks for all the replies!

Hi, My TN expires October 6th 2007. The company I currently work for wants to keep me for another year and will provide me with an employment letter like last time. My question is: Can I renew my TN in September before the one I have expires or do I have to wait until last minute to do it? Thanks!
