my understanding is you'll get an AP - for a validity period for only one year at a time. im not sure how you could use the AP you received 2 years ago. i have not travelled on AP so far

it will be a good sign if -
as "n77" said if EB3 moves to may 01. coz that eliminates the 245(i) cases falling into EB3 category. After that dates should go forward as it does now.

As far as my understand - all your H4 dependants may go out of status if you are the primary H1B holder. Good to get others views too ...
