Probably Your name check process has likely started. They usually send out your names shrtly after your I-485 submission (1-30 days).

They're not always helpful on the phone. If I were you, i would do an infopass and validate that your NC was submitted.

It happened to my wife. The attorney had to file new paperwork like for the initial request. Also had to pay the fee.

It means you name check is complete. The FBI forwarded the results to USCIS and they will make a decision. Not sur ehow long it will take, but it shoudl not be too long.
