Name check initiation-pls. help

Hello:

I had posted this before and I would really like some response from all the gurus out there :D

My I485 receipt is Mar 20, 2007 from NSC. NSC is now processing I485 with 09/06 receipt dates.

Based on this info., could you tell me if the name check process has started? If possible, can I contact anyone to get the status of my namecheck? Also, unless I get RFEs on 485, do I pretty much sit and wait...sigh!!

your waiting has NOT even started :D

you can get infopass to talk to uscis in person to get the status of name check.

Probably

Your name check process has likely started. They usually send out your names shrtly after your I-485 submission (1-30 days).
