Oct 2002 case, got pp stamped in April this year, still no card. Actually just received a duplicate notice of approval... I thought I was done, but I guess I need more patience...
Thanks everybody. I'll lurk around here at least until I actually have the card in my hand.
Note that I think it was my inquiry in Jan05 that triggered the fingerprint. About 3-4 weeks after I put the inquiry in, I got the fingerprint request. The inquiry response that I received a couple of...
I don't remember ever submitting a W2 (except to the IRS of course), but I do remember reading about people getting an RFE that asked for paystubs and W2's up to sometimes two years back. Besides that, I believe that if you get an interview it may be wise to bring your W2's with you, just in case.
Looks like it was my turn today.
ND 10/2002, 3 EADs/APs.
Did fingerprints about four weeks ago. Online status just changed to "This case has been approved."
It's a big relief. But it was a long wait... Very long...
I hope all you other 2002 filers get your turn Real Soon Now...
Congratulations. I'm a 10/2002 filter too, and my inquiry apparently triggered a fingerprint notice for next week (at least it's something). At the same time, my non-electronically filed EAD renewal got an RFE for making a photograph and fingerprint at the local office... weird.
May '04 is a really new case.
You'll probably need a good fresh dose of patience.
Don't expect approval soon. My I-140 even took longer than a year.
There are lots op people who filed their '485s in 2002 who are still waiting for any progress on their cases and would be happy to just...
For me, it kept telling me all day to call back mon-fi 8am-6pm....
It's monday, and I must have called a dozen times, each time between 8am and 6pm. Unless they mean the japanese time zone.
Bull
I remember reading that the backlog reduction plan would put the processing time at 20 months by the beginning of FY2005. FY 2005 began Oct 1, 2004, and my status still shows "It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case" which, last time I checked was 27-29...
Good article, and it shows how much ignorance exists about the facts:
"Despite President George W. Bush's promise during the 2000 presidential campaign to cut immigrants' waiting time for green cards and citizenship to one year, combined, the wait still takes three times as long, Gurvitch...
If only TSC would make a jump like that.
And also please send the cards before the Florida property tax homestead excemption filing...
Wasn't the backlog supposed to be <20 months by now (FY '05) in the current backlog reduction plan?
And what's up with these ND 2003 approvals?
Sigh.
First of all, I'm happy with the progress, and please TSC, please continue adjunctiating to meet that FY04 target...
But Wow! I knew that, but it never really sank in that that means that the government takes 8-10 days _longer_ than it takes for lawyers, just to update a web site with...
Hmm, I thought I read a posting/message somewhere that said that may had surpassed april, but searching back I can only find somebody's guess that it will do so. It looks like they don't have a final number for May yet... my mistake.
When the uscis website changed the scan limit from 1000 per...
My take is this: As shown by the data from the I485 tracker people with the excel sheet (and now with a java program), since around march TSC finally started working on the I485's again, at a pretty good and increasing pace (march was good, april beat march, may beat april). However, until only...
URLs changed. Scripts don't work anymore
I'm using king1999's perl script, and was surprised that people are talking about a change in the status page, but I didn't get an email...
Turns out the URLs are changed, so the script doesn't get the right pages. The end result is that is thinks...
