I lost my I-130 when I filed my I-485. So I attached a copy of an approval. When I went to my interview, I printed my USCIS online copy with me.
If you don't have the I-130 copy but have the case number, may be you can print it out and attached with the I-485 application...

You are right. However, in my country if you filed your bankcruptcy, they won't issue it to you. We don't call this as a police certificate. We call it a good citizen certificate. It's the only certificate police will issue it to you for immigration process.

Lucymo is right. Police certificate is required by, Consular Processing, Embassy. They want to make sure that applicant has no criminal and/or bankruptcy record has ever been filed.

It took me 12 days to receive a physical card. USCIS emailed and mailed me one welcome letter. Twice on LUD - card production order. No LUD for Approval Notice.
