    FP in Atlanta

    Ammi, I applied for my first EAD recently ONLINE and the receipt notice instructions were to go to the ASC and get FP and photographs done - which I did on March 26th. I am not sure if FP will be required again for my 485 approval. We'll wait and see.

    In July last year I had efiled for my wife's EAD (second) and got it in about 70 days. On Feb 9th I eFiled my first EAD and have to go for my fingerprinting and picture on March 26th. ( TSC will not process the EAD if FP and pictures are not done at the local ASC). Hopefully shortly after...

There is a lot of positive activity that is happening on the 485 approvals and while the anxiety does tend to build up when you are awaiting progress on your case...the flip...

    I got lucky the second time with the 800 number. They can only schedule 42 days in advance. Call just before 8:00 am EST and hope for the best. Cheers

    I-485 (EB2/RIR) RD/ND : June 11,2002 No FP as yet. Anyone in a similar boat? Just a thought: I applied for my EAD this month and when I called to schedule an FP , earliest date I got was March 26th. Looks like Atlanta is real busy with FP's. Are these FP issues related?
