Hey guys I know this question was asked before but let me ask again.

My ND is 7/02. I have not received an FP notice yet?

Should i start calling or should I wait?

Anybody with ND later than 7/02 already had his FP-s done?

Thanks. MK

RD 10/02 No FP YET
Called the number but it is just waste of time.

I also seen many people with RD > 07/02 got there FP's. It seems to me that if we call them to update address they are sending the FP's

Many people who filed (had their ND) in the second half of 2002 have not yet received their FP notices (including me-- ND on Aug 7, 2002). It appears that many people who applied in the first half of 2003 have received their FP notices already (correct me if I am wrong). I think this was an oversight on the part of TSC but they refuse to correct it. Calling will not help you. They will tell you that right now they are only taking FP inquiries from 2001 filers. The only solution it appears would be to do something that would trigger ther system to send you an FP notice. Filing for AP or EAD does not do the trick. Some say that a change of address would. If anyone has had this experience, I would like to hear about that. I am willing to move within the city to get my FP. It appears that one's approval date is a monotonically increasing function of one's FP date. I am pretty convinced on that and the evidence is overwhelming. Please share any information you have on what you think would trigger an FP notice.

Thanks in advance.

Letter from Senator Lamar Alexander

If nothing but address change triggers an FP notice what would an inquiry by a US senator do?

Lamara lexander has send me a very nice response to my letter submitted by e-mail to his TN office. His letter said he is willing to look into the backlog and requested my data on a US Congressional INS Inquiry form.

Has anybody else had this experience. Would this help anything other than put a drop more pressure on the Texas Service Center.

Michal.

I was told some time back by BCIS when I called Customer Service Number, they are planning to issue FP's before the Approval. Until that we have to wait.

Conincidence

Changing address won't necessarily trigger FP. Just conincidence or some luck that their case get touched.

I moved in Oct. 03 and did everything about that but no FP yet.

ND Sep. 2002. no FP.

mylvka is right, its only chance if somebody's case ignites spark after change of address. I moved in july 03 and submitted AR-11 at London, KY address but didn't receive acknowledgement. Recently, I informed to TSC and got the ack. but no FP yet. Only god knows what triggers TSC.

ND 08/22/02

ND 05/02 no FP yet!

Any way, I am going to move soon, so I will change address, see what happened... at least I could try!:D

RD: 9/24/02
Address changed in Oct 03 (different State) - it did not trigger FP.
Called them for FP and got the usual answer of their current processing time.
However my friend who applied for concurrent I-140/485 in Nov 03 got his AP/EAD approved in Feb 04 and also got his FP done in March 04. ......Yes that's from INS Texas.

my 2 cents..FP notice much earlier in the process isnt such a good thing either...cuz there is no way they can reduce the processing time to 15months r so..so if u get a FP notice as soon as u file for 485..chances r u might have to do it again..ofcourse there r exceptions..i'd say..keep calling if its around an year of filing ( i did that in 2003 and eventually got my notice)...

i dont think u need to change the address..just ask what address does the record show..and if they cant confirm..then give the same address to see what happens..:)

bad trick i supposed..but hey everything's fair...

Keep the thread alive

I asked my lawyer...and she is too sure that AR11 does not trigger FP notice..as per her it is just coincidence.
My RD is 5/7/02 and still waiting for FP.
Am not sure if calling TSC will help....?
Gen(5/3/02) and "vulture", please post when you get FP notices.

Re: Keep the thread alive

My attorney has recommended I sit tight for at least a couple of months and I agree with her. There is a lot of positive activity that is happening on the 485 approvals and while the anxiety does tend to build up when you are awaiting progress on your case...the flip side is it ends up taking up unnecessary time of an officer.. ( The "Vulture" they say is a patient bird !!!).
