NSC Approvals
Thanksgiving and Christmas season is coming soon. This is a time when NSC becomes even more sluggish than normal.
Despite the postings of March and April 2001 being approved, the typical NSC applicant (99.9% of applicants) has to wait 12-18 months for approval. These...
That\'s just nonsense
Come on. You really think NSC will be processing April 01 cases. Maybe the IIO meant April 2000 cases!
I talked to an NSC IIO about 2 hours ago. She told me the latest they are doing is 10/25/2000 RD\'s. She also said that my Jan 2001 RD case won\'t even be looked at...
Ramukesi: sending petition is waste of time
I\'ve known people who have done it before. NSC doesn\'t care. They\'ll just laugh at you.
I started my process in summer 1998 (eb2 rir), and still no hope of a green card.
I\'ve learned to bury my hopes and aspirations and let NSC walk all over...
don\'t believe NSC\'s propaganda
It\'s all just hot air. Meant to secure more funding for the new fiscal year by making wild claims.
In case you forgot, this is NSC we\'re dealing with (not CSC, not VSC).

It\'s my understanding that there are still many July 2000 and August 2000 cases pending at NSC. I don\'t think speaking to a senator will help at this point. NSC\'s processing time is slowly creeping the wrong way: 11 months...12 months...13 months...maybe 18-20 months by spring (my...
NSC is pathetic
VSC is approving Dec 2000 cases. CSC is approving April 2001.
What is wrong with NSC? Extrapolating at the trend NSC should be falling behind TSC pretty soon.
Maybe approvals in August
Historically looking at the graphs in immitracker.com it\'s possible August will be a good month for NSC. Let\'s wait and see.

Relax, it\'s normal for fp to go from INS-FBI-INS all within one or two days.
Most people I know in Chicago had this situation (including me). I checked with IIO a couple of weeks later - she said my+wife\'s FP\'s were fine.

Hi Ricki,
Why do you feel like you\'re "getting close".
Do you mean close to approval?
Any reasons to believe so?
I\'m curious because my dates are about one month after you.
thanks.

There is some truth the bleak outlook.
Software engineering, unlike any other profession in mankind\'s history, is one which reinvents itself once every few years. What people have learned becomes more or less obsolete, if not in three years, then in ten years. Sure, when something...

Is there something like a "corporation office" in Bombay. You might want to try there. In Bangalore non-avail certificates are issued at the corporation office.

JACOBI:
Your ND and RD are exactly the same as mine. Please see my previous post in this thread for details.
You\'d better call an IIO and rattle their cage a bit. That usually works if an approval has gone way beyond the stated time frame on the receipt notice.
