As long as you can prove how important your work field/ contributions are, as far as I know, you dont have to have a PhD degree.

    What's going on?

I agree there will be no problem to enter. I also agree to the fact that H1B is a dual intent visa. So basically your friend does have have a I-94, now. Think of it this way---since your AP is connected to your I-485 application, I think you will by default become in the so called "i-485...

Good one, tjshah. I have to go for a conference tomorrow, but when I get back, I will definitely try calling up as employer/ lawyer----whatever mood I am with at that time! You can travel with AP if you are using your EAD. However, if you come in to US using AP, your H1 gets cancelled---as...

    What's going on?

I dont think you can use AP when you are with EAD. That will definitely cancel your H1B status.

    What's going on?

tjshah Since mine is self-petitioned, do you think wither me or my lawyer can call?

    NSC Progress Updates

Snafu After you are done with your first lot of H1, I thought you had to stay out of the country for 2yrs. Is the time period one year? Thanks for the info!----I like your plan, incidentally.

    NSC Progress Updates

As I understand, once you have an approved I 140, chances of 485 approval are extremely high. So it is much safer to switch to your EAD at that stage, rather than with a pending 140. However, consult the Gurus for the final word on the subject :)
