what is the earliest one can apply for the extension of h1. my company says 2 months before the expiration (dec end), but i dont believe them. Jim or any one please help on this isssue. thanks

my company name will be changed , not the whole name but the last one which is now "xxxx Technologists" to " xxxx Technology". how does this effect my h1-b status. do i need to refile my h1 application. any info is highly appreciated. thanks

if i were you i would send the papers immediately to ins and get it stamped instead of having it done in india. i had the same situation as yours and after blocking my ticket i sent for stamping, and got promplty within 2 weeks.
