You need to get a new AP by July if you want to travel during July or August. (Just asked that question yesterday when I visited a local BCIS office). Hope this helps.

When you ask about EB1, do you mean I-140? I-140 was aproved in several months; I dont remember exactly, but a fair estimate would be about 6 mo. I485 was received by INS towards de end of Nov 2001. Hope this helps.
