Hi,

My case was transferred to local office on April 4, I got notice on April 28 informing me of the interview scheduled on May 19, that tasks 5-6 weeks after the transfer.

Anyone has the same case?

Hi ELMZ,

Would you specify to which local office you've been transferred, as well as, you RD/ND.?

Thanks

to elmz

could you please post more details about the transfer??

Was it transferred from TSC to the local office or from a different service center to the local INS office in Texas.

Also please post other details like the RD, ND, Transfer Date, Service center you are transferred from and the local INS office location etc.

Thanks

Re: Hi ELMZ

Hi,

I have post the results in another topic, here I pasted it again for you.

Approved!
hi, all friends,

My case got approved this morning.

I am sorry I am not able to use the ABBR. but I would list all the dates here.

Case: EB1
July 2001: 140 petition
Sep 2001: 140 approved

Our lawyers sent medical exams on April 2002 without notice returned from INS, under request, we sent it again in Nov, 2002. actually we could got approved on that date.

Case Transfer Date(to Newark): April 3, 2003
Date of Notice of Interview: April 27, 2003
Interview scheduled on: May 19, 2003
I went to the INS Office in Newark this morning.
Approved - passport stamped.

documents required:
2002 tax return.
current letter of employment
passport and I-94,
EAD.

First, called into the office by a INS officer, signed a form on both side(for green cards, you do not need to fill it out), left fingerprint.

Then came to his desk, you must vow to tell the truth together with him. He put all of your documents on his table, check your passport, I-94,

a few questions(about 10 mins):
(just tell the truth when asked)

The INS officer (a very nice black young man at his 30's) told me:
"congratulations! your petition ... approved!"

then stamped each passports and said to my 4 year old daugther, "you can have a job, you can have driver license... ...", My daughter responsed "I don't want to drive a car... ..."

"from now ... ..."
"you can travel anywhere in US"
"you can work for anyone ... ..."
"you can have all the benefits ... ..."
"you can become US citizen in 5 years !"
... ...

"This stamp is valid for one year, the cards will be sent to you about 6 months"

Thanks God ! Gods bless America ! America will bring you the future you had dreamt before, if you still love this land.

Thanks all.

Suggestion:
1. bring all the documents you prepared before.
2. relax and response at ease
3. tell the truth as you promised.

I got approval letter from BCIS

Hi,

I got the apprval letter - creation of GC, welcome letter, whatever it is, from BCIS, with a receipt number, I went to BCIS website - online status tracking, it is there, I was told within 3 weeks I should received my card.

Finally, I can relieve now, in past 3 months, I have been trying to change job, but I was told I should provide evidence that I can work for any employers, some good chances went away, I felt sad, but now I am happy, hope in following weeks, I can have my GC so that I can have a good job, visit friends and relatives. I have been here in states for 4 years without going anywhere (one time to Canada with my H1 ), there was no freedom at all for me after I submitted 485, although we were in the state of freedom. :)

Thanks all who providing information to help me sovle my problem, remeber, when you in trouble, do not trust INS officer in Newark in 3rd floor, none of them did right thing on my application. Do it yourself, send what you need to send, visit local office as you think necessary, argue with the INS officer untill they obey the immigration laws and returned your right here, help them to exend their experience and knowledge of immigration (each time after I consult imm lawyers, I went to local offices). Actually they and you are the same, we move to USA now legally now and they or their parents moved here in the past (legally or illegally).

At least, believe, God bless America! God also bless you !

next time I will update my thread when I get my physical card.
