I remember signing two separate things at the end of my asylum interview: the I-589 application itself, and something else. That was in 2000. What would this second paper be? I wasn't even looking. Anyone remembers what they signed if 2nd paper was given to you for signing after the interview?

Yes, I saw. If it is the case where he was granted asylum (asylum letter dated) 2 days before his 26th, birthday, and it only arrived 3 business days later, he would be outside of the range. He would have no way of knowing USCIS had granted him asylum prior to receiving the letter. Maybe OP...

Thanks. Some previous (previous cases') FP notices didn't have this kind of provision. Those earlier ones had a box for me to check, with the specific alternative date, not a 3 month range. They also had a warning on them that rescheduling will cause delay in processing of the application...

I got a FP notice for 11/13. It also says in it that I could come in any Wednesday until sometime in 2010 if I cannot make 11/13. Did anyone else receive this kind of info on their FP notices? Can I really not go for FPs on 11/13, and then show up on, say, 12/11 instead, and no problem?
