Tell me about it, I completely forgot about this trip, until I saw that place on TV and remembered I have been there. Other than that, I couldn't remember any thing. I think it is on 2005, but not 100% sure. Any way, I will tell the interviewer and hopefully it should be fine.

After mailing N-400 app, you will a notice from USCIS saying they have received your N-400 app. That notice will have a priority date. I think they (atleast, in theory) process the applications in the order of priority date, I am not 100% sure. It is also useful to compare timelines with others...

Thanks for the suggestion, that's what I am thinking of doing too. No, it won't affect 30 month requirement, I was out of US for not more than 105 days in last 5 years. It seems like the closer I get to my interview date, more questions/doubts I get :)

I don't think they are questing about the year, but about 'Should i count all the days prior to my arrival as being out of usa' Anyway, the answer is No.

I have similar problem. I submitted my Birth Certificate & Affidavit for my GC process (not sure why I needed both, but I submitted both). Now I can't find my original Birth Certificate any more, I only have affidavit with me. Would it be an issue in my N-400 interview? - JS.
