How much difference is acceptable. If person earned X in 2000 when applying for labor, and now he earns X + Y, is that ok? Also, if he now earns X - Y, is that also ok? Whats the acceptable % difference?
Please share info..
slow otherwise
They used to say VSC labour is faster and CSC 485 processing is faster....
my spouse has also applied for GC .. thru CSC though and its been over a year, labour is not cleared. Looks like whatever time CSC loses over labour, they make up with fast 485 processing and are always...
After browsing almost all the messages posted so far in this forum, I decided to browse other forums like CSC 485 processing. I know that CSC processing is much faster but somehow I couldnt help feeling envious seeing people congratulating each other on their Nov approvals.......while we are...
same boat
i am in a similar situation too. Why are you saying that there could some surprises in our kind of cases. There are lots of consultants who are processing cases in VSC and living elsewhere.
I dont foresee any problems.
whats the normal waiting time
i think most of us are not satisfied with our current GC sponsoring employers. I too would like to know when is it safe to leave my employer after GC approval
similar situation
I moved several times in the past. But not after I applied I-485. Additionally I dont want to send a change of address if it can create additional problems like loacl INS office transfer becos I have filed my case in VSC(employer in PA) though I live now in California...

i dont know the answer to your question.
But I wanted to know if you have a clue why u got a RFE for pay-stubs and W2. Just to know better why a RFE for such documents is required
if my company agrees to pay a minimum bench salary which obviously would be much lower than the actual, probably around 50% less or more, can that help in the matter.
Being a consultant on the move......
my 485 application reflects current address. However the H1B visa has my old address. Sending in a change-of-address now could confuse the INS that my 485 application address is an old one. So it could unecessarily trigger an RFE and delay the GC process...
Thanx for the suggestions.
My company is a big public organisation, so I am not sure how shud I go about suggesting this. But stretching this further, wud it be a problem if I ask them to pay me on paper. i.e. They give me a pay-stub by direct deposting my pay(like they do) and then I pay...
I am currently working on H1B visa. My info is as follows :
RD: Mar15 02
ND: Apr1 02
EAD/AP : May 15 02
FP: June15 02
I was on bench in May and June without pay. So no pay stubs. Now, I am doing a month long asssignment so hopefully I will get a paystub for July.
My worry:
