RFE Question

I have got an RFE to send W-2 and 3 most recent pay stubs. I have sent the above to INS. Does anybody know how long will it take to get the approval? I know INS works on its own pace but any guesses????????

But I wanted to know if you have a clue why u got a RFE for pay-stubs and W2. Just to know better why a RFE for such documents is required

If you are lucky, min 3 weeks max. 7 weeks.

I have a related question, however.

If there is no pay-stub for an I485 applicant (as he may not be on the payroll of the sponsoring company), what would be the best response to such an RFE?
Would an employment letter suffice?

Any wisdom on such a situation?
