    Poonch, one time an IIO told me the same thing... and a couple of weeks later when I called them they said it was still on the shelf. I don\'t think the IIOs understand the distinction, so I would not get my hopes very high.

    Ask Murthy to take her advice and shove it up her ass. What have these blood-sucking lawyers done to get INS to change their system. If INS had been even half as efficient as they ought to be, there would be no reason for the existence of these lawyers or even this web-site.

    I believe each category (EB1,2,3) have an acceptable salary range So if your reduced salary is below the range for that category, you have to file a new I140. Please ask your attorney for details. The reason I am saying this is because one of my close friends was forced a salary reduction...

    Talked to IIO today. She said that my FP were fine. Also a 2nd investigation was underway. When I asked what that meant, she did not answer directly, but said that for some cases a 2nd investigation was required and mine fell into that category. So case is on the shelf till that is completed...

    At what point after FP does the AVM change to reflect that FP has been done? After FBI returns the FP results to INS, how long does it take for INS to update their system and resume processing?

    Done FP today in San Jose It was scheduled for Dec. 26 in Oakland. No questions asked. Very efficient service...was out of there in half an hour. Thanks Dee.
