Just called 5 min ago This lady said my case has been assigned to an examiner, but it has not been on the examiner\'s desk. And she also advise me to renew my EAD which will expire on mid April. I think I will get RFE. So long as it moves forward, it\'s not big deal. Seems the sheet works.

Today I talked with an IIO, and he admitted my case is long overdued. He said he will fill an expedition sheet, so my case will be assigned to an officer in a week. The question is if I can trust his affirmation? I\'ve talked to IIO many times, will this time the expedition sheet really work...

Congratulations! Good news! Hope they are picking up backlogged cases. I assume yours was non-RFE, not-NVC case, as I check your other posts.

They can widen the window If they enlarge the window to one year. So somebody with ND Aug2001 will be approved before ND Aug2000 cases. They may implement a system depends on your horoscope or whatever else other than LIN#. I don\'t think my case is complecated, everything is under NSC, no CP...

IIO doesn\'t have any power If you want to hear some kinda "sweet" voice and exciting promise, try to call them. BTW, mine is not CP case, still waiting.

man, there are so many sep non-rfe cases I think we have to contact anybody as we can, including congressmen, lawyers, etc. I am tired of listening to IIO.

Talk to IIO twice today They said everything is OK, only I have to wait indefinite time. One thing for sure, you have to renew your EAD ASAP. I did it on purpose that I applied EAD 5 months later after 485 receipt, and thought it\'s safe. What else can I say now? What a mess!

JavedG Your experience is kinda weird. Two weeks ago and yesterday, two IIO said the same thing, I may take the second one as confirmation. I guess IIO has no power and no knowledge in NSC, their task is only to read the computer screen.

Talk to an IIO, and still nothing new. Last time one IIO told me that my case is in "the area". Good news is it is moving, bad news is it\'s not been picked up. According to her, my document moved to the area on Jan15. Can anybody tell me the average time a case stayed in that area...
