I believe it depends on the problem. If you had positive PPD, you need a chest x ray (CXR). I believe they will do a CXR anyway. If the CXR is abnormal, then they may ask for further testing, like sputum test or CT scan etc; if you have symptoms. If you know that there is abnormal CXR, then...

I have my birth certificate that was issued recently frm India. It has both my parents' names with initials (without expanded last names).
Please let me know if this is enough to show during interview (without expanded initials of parents).

They asked for spouse's birth certificate and marriage certificate. While applying for I-140, only my name was there. I believe, that't the reason for clarification.
