LUD is "Last Update Date". This date changes whenever USCIS touches your case. You need to register with USCIS and then under your portfolio you can check the status of LUD. You may also set an email notification there. ---- By Alan1

You can try, I have tried 3 times before they allow me to do it. You must be nice with the officer, he/she is who can give you the authorization. Ask him when is a good time to do it, or which days they have open for reschedules and you can try on those days (usually Wednesday and Saturady)...

Good News!!! :) :) Good News!!! I was there on February 1st and they did not allow me to do it. I returned today February 2nd on the morning and they said to me that I should go in the evening. Finally they allowed me to do it at 3 pm.
