No Title We did that. Because we moved from WV to MD, we didn\'t want go back to do FP, so we took the notice, went to FP office  in MD and asked them see if we can do FP here, the nice lady told us: yes and you can do now. - that was 2 weeks before  the schedule date.

No Title It took me exactly 2 weeks from the date I mailed out RFE.  From others post, normally it took about 2-4 weeks, but some one did take more than a couple of months.  Any way, you will get it. GOOD LUCK!

No Title My renewal had been approved on 28/11/00. It took 10 days to approve and about 2 months to get the card.

No Title I just got my renewal EAD card today. My first card was expired 12/29, the new card is started 12/30/00.  Was your old card expired before your new card be approved? Maybe this is the problem. Just guess.

No Title Thanks, bug.  I got my NIW when i was PhD student too. The problem is I couldn\'t find the job in the same field. I talked to my  company lawyer two months ago about redo I140, he didn\'t want to do it, so he filed H1B for me. I think he just  want to make more money...

No Title Your wife\'s H1 should be valid if she still works for the company who filed her H1b.  If you never be H1, you can file H1b as backup. My friend did this. and still waiting for GC and H1.
