that would depend on ur priority date, which in ur case would be the date of labor filing. They r only processing PD > june-02 rite now

U will prolly need it for ur renewals, if at all needed

U receive an email if the status msg changes, but no email just for LUDs...since ur dates r overdue from processing dates, u may want to call CIS and inquire, if ur not affected by the retro crap

good news /bad news good news is , with 65000 visa numbers, the PD will probably become current, say in MAY/June timeframe. bad news is , since a ton off apps would be eligible for processing, current processing times may be held up for a long long time. That probably will affect late filers...

there are no guarenteed times for luds....usually, after the fp u see a lud, but not necessarily immediately. mine took 2 weeks for the first lud
