First LUD After FP

Is there any particular time at whcih LUD happens after appearing for FP...Friend of mine appeared for FP today afternoon and he is complaning about no LUD yet....
Usually first LUD happens immidiately after FP is taken..Am I correct?

there are no guarenteed times for luds....usually, after the fp u see a lud, but not necessarily immediately. mine took 2 weeks for the first lud

later on did series of lud's got affected in ur case..I mean any issues regarding fbi name check update and resumption of case??

Hi, what LUD means? I did my first FP on Jan. 4 2005, but did not hear anything from INS. thanks
 
LUD means last update. You can go to case status on line on the INS website and open a portfolio with your email account. They can email you with updates on your case. If you don't want to do this, simply go to the case on line website. You type your 13 digit case number and you'll get info on your case. Just remember, sometimes it takes a long time to get updates. It's over a month now that I gave my finger prints...and no update yet!
 
LUD after FP

Here is my timeline:

140 EB-1a ND: 6/3/2004 AD 3/21/2005
485 ND: 9/16/2004 AD:???
EAD/AP: 9/30/2004
FP: 4/9/2005 LUD: 4/11/04, 4/12/04, 4/13/04, 4/20/04 with "FP received" message.

Fingers crossed waiting for final approval...

Crystalview, I did not call for 2FP's. I was not even expecting them, because I did not know they expire at 15 months. I did 1FP's back in 08/2003. Me and my husband did 2FP's 03/15/05, had a LUD 4/7/05 but no message change or emails yet.
