Chocolate, I found it when my H1B was renewed last year. A copy of the I140 has to be bundled with the application papers and for H1B the beneficiary (you) has to get a copy of the bundle from the attorney :cool:

My employer did not tell me the I-140 receipt number either but I found it this summer. I found it in the package the lawyer put together when they filed for H1B renewal. They have to give you this documentation (a copy of it) and the documentation needs to contain the I-140, and I-485, if any...
