change job with out I140 amendment

HI,
My Labour,I140 and 485 filed by Company A, now Company B acquired Company A. I am not sure my comapny amended my I140.

My 485 reciept date is 07/17/2007, by 01/27/2008 I am going to complete 180 days after my 485 filed.

Here my question is Can I change job with out my I140 amendment?

I think either you mistyped the filing date or miscalculated 180 days from it because January 18th, 2008 is 180 days from your indicated filing date.

I am not sure what the answer for the underlying question is though. I think, you should be fine but you might want to double check with your attorney.
