I don't know the details to file for MTR since I had a lawyer do it for me. Sorry...but I do know that you have 30 days, from date of denial, to file for MTR.

Courtesy Copy is same as 797C...it should be fine.

The officer did not ask for I-140 when I got my PP stamped in Boston. Past EADs, APs, approved 485 (797C), 2 PP style photos (with A# and name written with pencil), printout of Infopass appointment and ofcourse PP should be more than enough. Do not stress...it's a smooth process.

You don't have to take all your copies. Like everyone else has mentioned, the dates on the AP allow you to enter the US on a AOS status. At the point of entry if you mention you have more than one AP they might take the one otherwise they will stamp the AP and make a copy for themselves.

My labor stated "Software Engineer" but when I invoked Ac-21 my title was "IT Architect". My employer gave me a letter where the job duties were about 90% the same as the original labor. My case was approved recently. I guess it all depends on how comfortable you are with the same title and job...

Get your infopass appointment...you can always cancel the appointment. I got the approval notice in about a week's time. That's what I did.

I got the receipt with the same text but my case (485 denial) was approved in 4 days from the date of receipt. But every case is different. I had an approved I-140..don't worry, your case will be approved...it's a matter of time only.
