You can go same day and apply for SSN. Take the passport (I-551 stamped). You do not need anything else. SSA will get all the info with the A#.

Chennai consulate can be contacted by email for changing the P4 delivery address. Chennai IV customer service is good in responding emails.

anushri, From the time you send ur p3, you can expect ur interview in 3 months time if it is Chennai. BTW cptracker will give you the insight.

Hi Mubal, You can attach the file by selecting manage attachments which is under the Additional Options > Attach Files. BTW Did you get your appointment letter in US or you choose to receive in India. I would appreciate your response. rams
