I got my Letter of Compliance and everything is a-ok...but the company that is shipping my car said that because it is a temporary import, then I dont even need the compliance letter! Oh well...I guess it will be good to have for the future...

Hi Just wanted to know experiences at the Vancouver Airport when applying for a TN recently...good....bad? What did the customs officer give you problems with? Did you have a start and end date on your letter or did it just say one year? Thanks in advance!

I wish it was still like that...I gave my 2 weeks notice at work before I'll even get my visa approved...oh well..whatever is meant to happen will happen...if I dont get approved then it's on to plan B...not sure what that is though!

Thanks..I'm now seriously considering flying out the day before my start date on my letter even though I wouldnt actually start until a week later. Doing it at the land border before my flight would have just given me that extra security of knowing I have my TN before flying out.

Has anyone ever gotten a recall clearance letter from the dealership as well? Has customs ever asked you for this? I called my dealership to ask for this and turns out there was a part that was recalled so they cant issue the letter to me until that is fixed...grrr....
