And you need to realize that all the residency, etc. rules continue to be in force until you take the oath. If you were close on the continuous residence or physical presence rules, you may want to recalculate things.
The best you can do is wait. My interview was "descheduled" a couple of days before the original date. I ended up waiting another 5 months before getting a new interview date (and that required the intervention of my Senator).
You can try raising a fuss now, but screwups are part of the...
I had no "Final Interview" wording on my notice (Dallas Nov, 2006). However, when I signed handed in the form with the questions on the back, they looked at the questions and asked some innocuous question along the lines of "is this all correct". That was it.
What do the instructions on your biometrics appointment letter say? Ours had clear instructions about what to do if you couldn't meet their schedule or if you missed the appointment.
I didn't list my trips on the form itself. I took advantage of the "if you have too much to fit on the form use a separate sheet" instruction, and simply put "See Attachment XYZ" on the form itself.
My trip list included as sorts of fuzzy language like "to the best of my recollection" and...
Tell the truth. If your taxes are overdue, say they are overdue. Then include an attachment that explains that you have made arrangements with the IRS, that you are in compliance with those arrangements and that the IRS is happy with your compliance.
We answered "Yes" to one of the "no"...
It's been a couple of years now, but what I remember was that I just followed the directions on the form and in the instructions. They were not that complicated if I remember correctly. What is confusing you?

That 30 something year old GC application came up during my...

If your GC is set to expire less than 6 months...
No, you don't need a lawyer unless you have complications. If you do get a lawyer, use him/her as a consultant, and don't get them in the middle of the process. As has been mentioned, inserting a lawyer into the paper trail can cause screw ups.
We answered one question "yes" (on my wife's...
Right, and you probably pay yourself and deduct taxes from your pay. The filings you make to the government (for the deductions) would be nice as well.
The 96 questions (with answers) are in the back of the Guide to Naturalization.
I never received a booklet or a CD. There are flash cards you can order from the government on line. My wife got so nervous studying for the interview that I was considering getting her a set of the cards for...
I didn't bring any proof of my former membership in the boy scouts or the PTA at my daughter's elementary school. I didn't bring proof of *any* clubs I belong to (or formerly belonged to). I can not imagine them asking for proof of this stuff (unless the club is somehow controversial). At...
