Happy for them, but unfortunately people that are detained and get approval get the residency card first. They don’t have to get on a waiting list. That why the wait time keeps getting longer.It is from someone who has been detained since July 9th. He was granted release yesterday, and his wife says that the same day was his verbal approval as well. I know it’s confusing, but she said that and is happy for them. That was posted on Facebook.

@luz111, this is an example, she said her husband was detained in june had court monday and got the verbal approval. She just waiting on dhs not to appeal for her husband to get out, and they will mail him his card
