Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

It is from someone who has been detained since July 9th. He was granted release yesterday, and his wife says that the same day was his verbal approval as well. I know it’s confusing, but she said that and is happy for them. That was posted on Facebook.

Happy for them, but unfortunately people that are detained and get approval get the residency card first. They don’t have to get on a waiting list. That why the wait time keeps getting longer.

I think it's false because that's not how it works; it's by shifts, nobody has priority.

its not about priority. The 4000 visa count does not apply to those detained. So yes they get their green card upon release but they do not have to get on the wait list.
Hi everyone. detained people that apply for 42b case and got approved or granted it counts on the 4000 focal year.!! And a lot of people that didn’t know they qualify for this and are applying now that is why me need to be patience now more than ever.
