DV 2026 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

I’m a DV2026 winner, case number OC2xx, Sydney consulate. KCC confirmed our DS260 has been processed and we didn’t get a 2NL last month and not this month either. Given we have such a low case number, could there be an issue in Sydney? Thanks

Maybe - but it is still early in the year and we don't have CEAC data, so no point in speculating and worrying.

We were also selected dv2026 oc region 4xx. Ds260 processed but no 2nl for us either. Would love to know when you get an interview date!

Hi SouthCoastFam,

There's no issue with Sydney Consulate. I have my November appointment confirmed.

My case number is higher than yours. You will receive your 2NL within the week, don't panic.

Hope that makes you feel a little better :)

@Britsimon, can we create a dedicated Oceana 2026 winners thread? I think it will be hard to find Oceana/Aus posts in this combined thread once things kick off with all the regions. Ta.

That’s great news! Thanks for letting us know. You’ll have to update us how the process goes as I’ll admit I have a bit of anxiety about the medical side as our youngest is 10 and I have no idea what they do at these things. An Oceania thread would actually be really helpful.

Hey folks,

I'm the other half of SouthCoastFam - given that our DS260 has been processed since at least mid-August, is there a reason we'd be skipped for an interview in favour of higher numbers? Could it be because we're a family of 4?

Mid August was probably too late to get onto the interview schedule for October. Not sure if all 2NLs have been released for November yet. Being a family of 4 (or any number) shouldn’t make a difference.

Hadn't considered that as a reason, we're a family of 4 also and no 2nl yet. (4xx)Getting sick of refreshing the ESC page every other hour!!

Were you only able to confirm ds260 processed by emailing kcc?

So we have an update.

We don’t have a 2NL as such, but I emailed KCC yesterday, asking if they needed more information for our case or whether we were queued for an interview slot. They responded almost immediately, informing us that we have an interview scheduled in Sydney in November & we’ll receive a 2NL in the next 7-10 days.

If we receive our 2NL in the first week of October for a November interview, it seems that the bottleneck is a KCC sending out the notifications, rather than Sydney being unable to schedule interviews.

I’ll keep you posted...

Traditionally, interview notices are sent out anywhere from 4-8 weeks ahead of the interview, with 4-6 most common. Doesn’t sound like any kind of bottleneck, just normal timelines.

We were under the impression the 2NLs came out pretty much in a big chunk in the days around the 15th of each month. We've been fretting unnecessarily :)
